This Policy Is Current And In Effect

Purpose[edit]

The purpose of this policy is to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees and to provide clear guidelines for the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and weapons.

Policy[edit]

  • All employees must wear their full company-issued uniform at all times while on duty. The uniform must be clean, pressed, and in good condition.
  • All employees must carry all equipment and weapons that they are certified and permitted to carry at all times while on duty. This includes, but is not limited to, a phone and / or two-way radio, flashlight with red lense, and any other equipment or weapons that are specific to their job duties.
  • All employees must be properly trained in the use of all equipment and weapons that they are certified and permitted to carry.
  • Employees must only use equipment and weapons in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
  • Employees must report any damage or loss of equipment or weapons to their supervisor immediately.
  • Employees must store equipment and weapons in a secure location when not in use.
  • Employees must never leave equipment or weapons unattended.

Consequences of Non-Compliance[edit]

Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Exceptions[edit]

Exceptions to this policy may be granted on a case-by-case basis by the employee's supervisor.

Review[edit]

This policy will be reviewed annually or as needed.
