Purpose and Scope[edit]

The purpose and scope of the Labor Reform Act is to establish the following.

  1. Establish a standard payment scale and schedule for all employees.
  2. Establish a standard job description for all employees.
  3. Prevent abuse of any one section and promote the availability and effective range of individual employees

Reason for Changes[edit]

Correct erroneous pay amounts in the payroll system while also establishing a fair and livable wage for all employees.

Company Structure[edit]

The company should be set up in the following guidelines in order to allow for ease of management and for scalability purposes.

Job Title and Descriptions[edit]

The following job titles and their descriptions are available, along with current pay rate for said job title.

Developer[edit]

$20.00, increase to $20.50 on 20230101 : Official designation is "Full Stack Developer".

Full Stack Development

Full Stack Developers implement both Front-End and Back-End skills and tackle a wide variety of tasks in building and maintaining a software entity (ex. app, webpage).
Their main duties include creating user interactions on various websites and platforms, writing code optimized for mobile and developing databases and services for functionality.
This position requires versatility, creative and logical problem solving and client communication skills.


Duties and Responsibilities

- Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment
- Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
- Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
- Overseeing and guiding the analyzing, writing, building and deployment of software
- Overseeing testing and providing feedback to management during the development process
- Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs


Skills and Qualifications

- Front-end technology:
Knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as BootStrap, React JS, JQuery etc..

- Development Languages:
Knowledge of server-side programming languages (ex. PHP, Python, Java)

- Database and cache:
Relative familiarity with database technology (ex. MySQL) and caching mechanisms (ex. Memcached)

- Basic Design Ability:
Including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design

- Server:
Experience Working with Nginx or Apache servers

- Writing and communication skills:
Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it

Compensation for Travel[edit]

Per California Labor Law, and the Fair Labor Standards Act, travel pay may be warranted under certain conditions.

The following examples are NOT eligible for travel pay.

- Traveling with another coworker in their vehicle, or traveling in a company vehicle (You are not driving). - This does not apply if you are required to use this mode of transportation, example, a company paid plane or bus ticket, and can not use other means of transportation.

- Traveling in your own vehicle when there is a company provided option available.

- To or from work or home. This only applies to the first work place visited.

The Following example are payable.

- Traveling to different sites after arriving to the first site of the day, or checking in at the shop first.

- Required means of transportation (forced to use company provided vehicle)

Current compensation is $0.655 per mile. A mileage report and DAR must be submitted at the end of the day in order to receive compensation.
