Main ticket Gate

This position is located at the front of the Speedway, next to the ticket booth, at the inside of the main gate. The following is the expectations of the guard in this position.

• Issue pass stamp as requested by Guests already inside the gate.
• Inspecting bags and other such belongings, looking for prohibited items.
• Not allowing prohibited items to enter the Speedway, and preventing Alcohol from leaving the gate.
• Taking of tickets from Guests to verify their entry.

Any emergencies or other issues should be reported to the Foot Patrol guard and / or on-duty supervisor.

Foot Patrol

This patrol area, unless otherwise specified is inside the main gate of the Speedway, where the patrons are located and throughout the stands.

• Regularly patrol and inspect the grounds for disorderly or dangerous conduct/hazards/situations.
• Keep the patrons away from dangerous or restricted areas, this includes:
  • The Racetrack/Pit Area
  • Within 3 feet of the fence separating The Stands from The Racetrack/Pit Area
• Assist patrons when approached
• Report lost items/pets/children to the main office and/or announcer
• Assist when called by Speedway staff
