Purpose[edit]

This policy outlines the dress code for all Tech Stop employees, promoting professionalism, safety, and a sense of belonging within the organization.

General Guidelines[edit]

  • All employees are expected to maintain a neat and clean appearance while on duty.
  • Clothing should be free of rips, tears, or stains.
  • Uniforms must be well-fitting and not excessively baggy or tight.
  • All employees are responsible for the laundering and upkeep of their uniforms.

Security Personnel Uniform[edit]

  • Shirt: Black, long-sleeved BDU shirt with collar. Tech Stop security patches on the both sleeves, Tech Stop security badge on left chest, name tag with badge number on the right chest.
  • Undershirt: Black, tan, or olive green t-shirt. Must be well-fitting and of solid color with no designs or logos.

Pants: Black BDU pants with belt loops. Footwear: Black, composite-toe boots with good ankle support. Steel-toe boots are optional, but recommended for high-risk environments. Accessories: Only authorized badges, watches, and jewelry are permitted. No visible piercings or facial tattoos are allowed while in uniform.

All Other Departments Uniform[edit]

  • Shirt: Collared shirt (polo shirt or button-down dress shirt with no designs or logos). Company logo embroidered on the left chest (optional).
  • Pants: Black BDU pants, dress pants, khakis, or similar professional attire.
  • Shoes: Closed-toe shoes (sneakers, dress shoes, or boots) in black, brown, or neutral colors.
  • Accessories: Similar to security personnel, only authorized badges, watches, and jewelry are permitted. No visible piercings or facial tattoos are allowed while on duty.

Exceptions[edit]

Deviations from this policy may be authorized in specific situations with prior approval from the supervisor. This may include situations where comfortable clothing is required for specific tasks (e.g., technicians performing repairs) or for religious observances.

Tech Stop may provide additional uniform items, such as jackets or hats, for specific purposes or weather conditions. These will be communicated to employees separately.

Enforcement[edit]

Supervisors are responsible for ensuring employees adhere to this uniform policy. Employees who consistently violate the policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment

This policy will be reviewed and updated periodically to reflect any changes in company needs or industry standards.
